Perplexity Computer is a cloud-based AI agent from Perplexity AI that orchestrates multiple frontier models (around 19-20) as sub-agents to autonomously execute complex, multi-step tasks. Users provide a goal in natural language; the system plans, browses the web, manipulates files, calls APIs, and delivers finished work such as reports, code, or bookings. It is embedded in Perplexity's product family and available via web, desktop, mobile, Slack, and Microsoft 365, plus a local "Personal/Portable Computer" variant for Mac and with NVIDIA hardware. Access is bundled into Perplexity's Pro/Max/Enterprise subscriptions, with usage-based credits rather than a separate standalone price.
