Notion AI is the built-in AI feature of the Notion productivity platform for document and knowledge management. It includes a chat agent (Notion Agent), Custom Agents for automation, AI-powered meeting notes, database autofill, and workspace-wide search (Enterprise Search) with connections to external tools such as Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub. Notion AI became generally available in February 2023 after a private alpha, and since May 2025 it has been bundled into the Business and Enterprise plans rather than sold as a separate add-on. Users can switch between several large language models (from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic), with Notion orchestrating multiple provider models rather than training its own foundation model.
