Midjourney is a proprietary AI image generator by the independent research company Midjourney, Inc. (San Francisco), which produces high-quality images from text prompts. Since June 2025, the platform also supports image-to-video generation. The current default model is V8.1 (default as of June 11, 2026), accessible via a web app at midjourney.com and through a Discord bot. The service is subscription-only with no free trial.
