Managed Deep Agents is a hosted runtime service for the open source Deep-Agents framework, presented by LangChain on May 13, 2026 at the Interrupt conference. It is currently in private beta and runs exclusively on LangSmith Cloud in the US region; users continue to define their agents in Python or TypeScript in their own repository, while LangChain handles runtime tasks such as threads, checkpointing, streaming, context management, and observability. Access is currently CLI-first via the "mda" tool; a public API and pricing information have not yet been published.
