Google Antigravity 2.0 is a standalone desktop application for agent-first development, announced at Google I/O 2026 on May 19, 2026. It is no longer an IDE fork but a separate platform for orchestrating multiple AI agents running in parallel. Beyond the desktop app, the ecosystem includes a Go-based CLI (successor to Gemini CLI), an SDK for custom agents, and Managed Agents in the Gemini API. The default model is Gemini 3.5 Flash; Claude and GPT-OSS models are also supported.
