Momentum
Flue is an Open Source TypeScript framework by the Astro team (led by Fred K. Schott) for building autonomous, headless AI agents with built-in agent harness. Rather than a classical LLM SDK abstraction, Flue offers Sessions, Tools, Markdown Skills, sandbox environments, and durable execution. The software is open source under the Apache 2.0 license, runs model-agnostic, and can be deployed on Node.js, Cloudflare Workers, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Flue was publicly unveiled on May 1, 2026 as "The First Agent Harness Framework," with version 1.0 Beta available since June 16, 2026.
