Canva Code is an AI-powered feature within the Canva platform that lets users generate interactive websites, landing pages, dashboards, widgets and mini-apps in HTML/CSS/JavaScript from text prompts. The generated output can then be edited like a normal Canva design via drag-and-drop, embedded into other designs (presentations, whiteboards, documents), or published directly as a website. The feature was unveiled in April 2025 at the Canva Create conference; in mid-2026 "Canva Code 2.0" followed as a major upgrade that significantly reduced generation times and opened the feature to all users including free accounts.
