AFM 3 Cloud is Apple's third-generation server-side foundation model, running on Apple's own Private Cloud Compute infrastructure (Apple Silicon servers). It is built on an enhanced Parallel-Track Mixture-of-Experts (PT-MoE) architecture and is optimized for speed, efficiency, and multimodal reasoning tasks. The model was announced on June 8, 2026, at WWDC 2026, as part of the five-model AFM 3 family developed in collaboration with Google. Apple has not publicly disclosed numerical specifications such as parameter count, context window size, latency figures, or external API pricing.
