Venice AI is a privacy-focused AI platform by Venice.ai, Inc., founded in 2024 by Erik Voorhees. It provides access to more than 200 text, image, video and audio models via a web/mobile interface and an OpenAI-compatible API, with prompts not stored on the company's own servers according to the provider. The platform combines self-hosted open-source models with an anonymized proxy for proprietary models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok), billed through a credit/token system (VVV/Diem). In July 2026 the company reached a $1 billion valuation following a $65 million Series A round.
