Vellum Assistant is a personal AI assistant from Vellum AI featuring persistent memory (eight memory types), its own identity, and autonomous task execution including email, calendar, research, and desktop control. The product is available as Open Source software (MIT license) on GitHub and is additionally offered as a hosted "Vellum Platform" (cloud), accessible via macOS app, iOS, web, Telegram, Slack, and phone. It should be distinguished from "Vellum," the separate LLM orchestration/agent building tool (vellum.ai for developer teams), though both are operated by the same company, Vellum AI.
