DigUp is an open-source desktop app (macOS menu bar app; the official site also lists Windows and Linux) that searches files such as photos, PDFs, audio, video and code using natural-language descriptions. Search runs locally on the device using Google's EmbeddingGemma 2. According to the sources, indexed files are not uploaded to the cloud.
