T3 Code is an Open Source GUI (desktop, web, and mobile) that controls existing coding agents like Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, and Grok Build through their own CLI credentials and consolidates them in a unified interface. The project comes from Theo Browne (t3.gg) and the Ping Labs team and was released in March 2026; the source code is available under MIT license on GitHub (pingdotgg/t3code). T3 Code does not provide its own AI model, but instead functions as an orchestration and control layer ("agent harness control surface") with features such as thread management, Git worktree isolation, diff viewer, and automated pull-request workflow. Users pay exclusively for their existing subscriptions/API access to the respective providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, etc.).
