Instinct is a personal AI assistant from San Francisco startup Spear Street Technology, Inc., controlled via text message, WhatsApp, or phone call, which autonomously performs tasks such as bookings, appointment scheduling, email follow-up, and purchases through connected accounts and a persistent cloud computer. The product has been in invite-only beta since its public emergence in late August 2026, with no public pricing announced so far. Instinct integrates 1Password (Vault) for credential management and Stripe (Link) for payments, and has its own email address (mail.instinct.com) as well as a standing-instructions library for recurring tasks. The service is operated by Spear Street Technology under founder Noah Shinn, a former Sierra research scientist.
