IronClaw is an Open Source agent runtime system (Rust) by NEAR AI, positioned as a secure alternative to OpenClaw. It runs either in encrypted Trusted Execution Environment enclaves on NEAR AI Cloud or locally, isolating credentials and tool execution through encrypted Vault and WebAssembly sandboxing. As an agent runtime, IronClaw is model-agnostic and supports numerous LLM providers (including NEAR AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini) via configurable backends, some with OpenAI-compatible protocol. The product was launched live at NEARCON 2026.
