Mistral Large 3 is Mistral AI's flagship language model, released on December 2, 2025 as part of the "Mistral 3" model family. It is an open, multimodal Mixture-of-Experts model with 675 billion total parameters, of which 41 billion are active per forward pass, trained from scratch on approximately 3,000 NVIDIA H200 GPUs. The model is released under the Apache-2.0 license as open weights, supports a context window of 256,000 (262,144) Token, and processes both text and images thanks to an integrated vision encoder.
