Mistral Large 3 (model version 2512) is Mistral AI's most capable model to date and the flagship of the "Mistral 3" family announced in December 2025. It is an open-weight, multimodal Mixture-of-Experts model with 675 billion total parameters (41 billion active per forward pass) and a 256,000-token context window. The model supports text and images across 40+ languages and is released under the Apache 2.0 license, permitting commercial use and self-hosting. It is available on Mistral AI Studio, Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Hugging Face, and additional third-party platforms.
