The Ascend 910C is an AI accelerator from Huawei that combines two coupled Ascend 910B chiplets in a dual-die package to increase computing power. The chip is manufactured by SMIC using a 7-nm-class process (N+2) and features approximately 53 billion transistors. It serves as the core component of the CloudMatrix-384 system and the Atlas 900 A3 SuperPoD, and is intended to provide Chinese enterprises with an alternative to Nvidia GPUs such as the H100. Since Huawei has not published an official datasheet and most technical specifications come from industry reports, sales are restricted to mainland China due to Huawei's placement on the US Entity List and export controls on the chips.
