GPTZero AI Detection Model 3.7b is an update to GPTZero's commercial AI text detector, released in August/September 2025. The model was retrained with expanded training data to better detect text from current language models (including GPT-4.1, o3, Gemini 2.5, Claude Sonnet 4) and, per the vendor, generalizes to GPT-5 without being explicitly trained on it. Access is via the GPTZero web platform, browser extensions, and a paid API; the product is cloud-based (SaaS) with no self-hosting option.
