Pangaea is Deel's model family for global workforce operations (hiring, paying and managing people in more than 150 countries), launched on October 21, 2026 together with the AI lab Emet. The models are built on open-weight models and trained on Deel's knowledge base and expert data from Emet. The first models are Pangaea K1 (Global Work) and Pangaea P1 (Payroll); Pangaea is rolling out as the main model behind AI at Deel.
