Lucy 2.5 is Decart's most advanced real-time video editing model, transforming live video streams while they're still running instead of rendering finished clips afterwards. The model was released on July 16, 2026 and enables character swapping, object placement, background changes, restyling, and visual effects via text prompt at 30 FPS in 1080p with very low latency. A "Self-Anchoring" technique is designed to ensure visual consistency across long streaming sessions. Access is provided through the Decart API or partner platforms like fal.ai, billed based on seconds used.
