Canva AI 2.0 is a conversational, agentic extension of the Canva platform that lets users generate fully editable, layered designs, presentations, documents, websites, and spreadsheets from natural-language prompts. It runs on Canva's proprietary "Canva Design Model" and adds persistent memory (Memory Library), agentic orchestration, task scheduling, and connectors to external tools such as Slack, Gmail, and Google Drive via the Model Context Protocol. The product was unveiled on April 16, 2026 at the Canva Create conference in Los Angeles as a research preview and is described by Canva as its most significant product evolution since the company's founding in 2013.
