BrowserSkill is an open-source CLI and browser extension tool released by Tencent that enables AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to access Chrome or Edge tabs already logged in on the user's browser without taking over the session. Instead of opening a new, blank browser window, the agent borrows an existing tab, works in a separate visible "Agent Window," and returns it afterward, preserving login states, cookies, and open pages. For CAPTCHAs, logins, or confirmation dialogs, the system automatically returns control to the user. The project is hosted as an Open Source repository on GitHub, currently supports Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and runs entirely locally.
